Location: River Usk, or River Wye (exact location to be confirmed via email a few days before the event as this is water level dependent)

I can tailor training to your needs, but we are likely to cover:
Planning a safe day out on the river to develop your independence
Developing your forward stroke to help you paddle more efficiently; generating momentum, accelerating and cruising
Develop your stroke repertoire to help improve your boat handling
Identifying river features and hazards
Breaking into and out of the flow
Ferry gliding
Who is this for?
You will have paddled your canoe solo (or tandem if you plan to come as a tandem pair)
You can paddle forwards and turn your canoe on the spot and on the move
You understand the basics of connectivity and power transfer
What is included:
Canoe coaching on moving water by a qualified white water coach
Buoyancy Aid if required
Helmet if required

Canoe and paddle
